The Neals

On June 30th, Sean had his white coat ceremony, officially making him a medical student at Michigan State University!! It was a very nice ceremony, with a lot of comforting words. I'm guessing the wiser and the older know how challenging this road will be. Sean has been in school since July 5th and is loving it...not loving the tests...but loving this new experience. A few days after his white coat ceremony we went up to what Michiganers call the "U.P" (Upper Peninsula) and took a ferry ride to Mackinaw Island. It is incredibly beautiful! The grand hotel which you can see in the picture is famous for its part in the Christopher Reeve's movie, "Somewhere in Time."
